Our firm acted in all levels of the Australian legal system for asylum seekers, refugees and stateless clients held in Australian onshore detention in order to help them obtain visas and their liberty. We also continued to supervise legal students with an interest in human rights to complete their required work experience and PLT hours, which assisted us in our work. This is helping to ensure the next generation of human rights lawyers gain unique experience and insight due to the exposure to our cases, some of which have and are changing case law in Australia
