About Homeworker Code Committee Inc.
We delivered an accreditation program to prevent the exploitation of local garment workers in the textile, clothing and footwear industry. Accredited businesses could then utilise the trade mark to indicate to consumers/customers that they had a supply chain free from exploitative labour conditions. We provided awareness raising initiatives to the broader public including governments, private sector and civil society about the issues in the local industry and the Ethical Clothing Australia trade mark to support ethical decision making.
