HomeStart support vulnerable families with at least one child under eight years. HomeStart offers, professional and volunteer home visiting, parenting education, supported playgroups, Indigenous Cultural Awareness projects, Early literacy, transition to school programs. Families referred to HomeStart may be experiencing issues such as Domestic Violence, mental health issues, disability, isolation and lack of, poor parenting skills, support etc. HomeStart also provides social and Community capacity events.
