Highway Foundation exists to help young people reconnect with themselves, develop emotional clarity, and build a deep sense of belonging especially in a time of rising loneliness, disconnection, and fear about the future. Our core mission is to support inner connection as a foundation for wellbeing, so young people not only survive the challenges of life but grow with confidence, clarity, and hope. In 2024, Highway Foundation delivered a range of programs and initiatives that directly supported this mission. Our flagship oneonone and small group online sessions reached hundreds of young people across urban and remote regions of Australia, offering a safe and secular space to reflect, be heard, and feel less alone. These sessions are guided by trained youth facilitators who model deep listening, emotional support, and nonjudgemental presence practices central to our contemplative approach. Our ongoing collaboration with the Miriam Rose Foundation to deliver the Dadirri Indigenous Educational Contemplative Resource has deepened Highway s impact by embedding contemplative practice and cultural awareness into the lives of young people across diverse educational settings.
