About Heritage Fruits Society Incorporated
Our aim is to conserve heritage fruit varieties (also known as 'heirloom fruits') on private and public land. We enabled and encouraged society members to research this wide range of varieties and to inform the public on the benefits of heritage fruits for health, sustainability and biodiversity. We did this through working bees, grafting days at various sites, tree sales, pruning workshops, liaising with relevant organisations, information sessions, tasting events and assisting the public through our website and email.
