Hear With Us continued its advocacy promoting the inclusion of and access to captioning to enable equitable access to information relayed auditorily, especially: seeking the inclusion of functional equivalent captioned telephony services within the National Relay Services working with the Australian Government and the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network as well as public transportation and public information/entertainment venues by working with Queensland Government. Captioning contributes towards communication accessibility for all people, including people with disability. All people can benefit from enhanced communication.
