About Healthlit4everyone Limited
Timeframe: Dec 2023Dec 2024 In 2024 HealthLit4Everyone has continued to consolidated our projects, partnerships, extend our presence on social media and commence our fundraising arm. This has meant having a more strategic approach focusing on two main initiatives in 2024. HealthLit4Corporates in partnership with St Lukes and HealthLit4Kids as part of two applications one to the Tasmanian Government which we are still awaiting a response and the other a current joint application being considered by the Tasmanian Community Fund. HealthLit4Everyone continues to strongly liaise and advocate with key stakeholders e.g the minister for Health , Education and Community , Department of Education , Children &Young People (DECYP) and Public Health. Four key achievements have been: The Launch of Global Perspectives on Children s Health Literacy edited by two of our directors Dr Rosie Nash and Dr Shandell Elmer. The launch attracted interest by researchers, politicians and local media and also provided the first fundraising opportunity with two books raffled off. Ability to donate from our website and development of the operational processes around the IT data collection, storage and privacy. Preparation (and legal input) prior to the signing of the MOU and contract for HealthLit4Corporates project to start with St Lukes in 2025. Establishing a social media presence on LinkedIn which now has a strong following (600 followers). These achievements have enabled HealthLit4Everyone to increase its profile, opportunities to network, exposure to new potential partners and expand our funding options. These activities have helped us to move towards delivering key services in our community capable of supporting our mission and vision. Our mission is to deliver health literacy solutions tailored to suit everyone, leaving no child, family or community behind. Our vision is to lessen health and social inequities for children, families and communities locally and globally.
