For auditing purposes, and to ensure alignment with the criteria for health promotion under the Australian Charity Network commissions, we undertook several initiatives aimed at supporting mental health within local grassroots sporting clubs. These initiatives included providing counselling services to individuals experiencing suicidal ideation and offering support to families who had lost loved ones. Additionally, all Charity members completed Mental Health First Aid training. We also organised and participated in events across various communities to raise awareness of mental health issues and promote suicide prevention.
