Last year our organisation was able to involve its members and the wider Muslim community with a range of different events and initiatives throughout the year. These events included our annual Ramadan gatherings that encompass breaking our fast together and a wide range of activities. Eid prayers and a festival followed straight after this month which included activities such as jumping castles and a soccer tournament which moth children and adults enjoyed. Our youth as usual excelled in providing services and activities catered to their age bracket and keeping the young members of the community engaged. Through their programs, they were able to support the emotional, spiritual, and social development of the youth, to allow them to be empowered within our community. A new initiative that took place this year was a forum for the youth that was held bimonthly to allow the voices of the youth to be heard in order to cater for their needs. For another consecutive year a successful youth Ramadan Iftar was held, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together in the spirit of unity and reflection. A trip to the aquarium was also organised which was memorable, ensuring our younger members had a funfilled experiences outside the classroom. Another annual event that was celebrated was the Islamic new year which was an event filled with recitations, poems and chanting to welcome the new year. We also celebrated our annual commemoration of the Prophet's birth, which brought together people of different backgrounds and was done in collaboration with another community as a multicultural event. Our weekend school had an outstanding year in 2024, demonstrating continued growth and refinement across both campuses. Enrolment increased by over 5%, reflecting the school's strong reputation and commitment to excellence. This year was characterised by enhancements to existing processes, with a particular focus on strengthening crosscampus initiatives, improving parent communication, expanding extracurricular activities, and refining the curriculum. These efforts ensured a more cohesive and enriched educational experience for students, faculty, and parents alike.
