About Hands-On-Health Australia
Hands on health Australia is a peak body charity for providing services and programs to the disadvantaged and vulnerable populations in nationally via its Community Wellbeing Hubs and programs and services. Our members include consumer and carer groups, community health and mental health services, local networks professional associations, local governments, tertiary and vocational institutions and other bodies cross the health and social wellbeing related sectors. HoHA also has a dedicated Community Health and Wellbeing Hub located in the City of Darebin for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community established some 10 years ago and has deployed over 7000 treatments and treated more than 4500 Aboriginal men and women comprising elders youth and family. Our aim is to ensure that people living with disadvantage (including physical mental spiritual and emotional illness) can access the services and care they need, when and where they need it. Our view is that everyone should have access to a core suite of services that they can choose from at the Wellbeing Hub they frequent.
