Hand Tool Preservation Association of Australia Inc.

1. HTPAA carries out working bees' activities at Glenfern to preserve our collection of hand tools and Caine Tool Collection of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria). 2. We publish the Tool Chest magazine, Sharp Edge newsletter and Spanner & Wrench Collector four times a year issued to all members and the National/State Libraries. 3. Twice a year we organize Antique & Collectible Tool Markets that is open to the public. 4. Six times a year we organize Members meetings at Box Hill Community Art Centre where a speaker will give a presentation or demonstration on specific trade/professional skill area. 5. We exhibit tools and provide demonstrations on related craft activities at various public events such as Lost Trades Fair in Bendigo, Steamfest at the National Steam Centre in Scoresby, Height Traditional Heritage weeks at La Basa NTAV, Draught Horse and Yesteryear Festival at Mont De Lancey, Crank Up event at the Upper Yarra Valley Historical Society, and several other events. 6. In Oct/Nov we have a Tool & Trades Day conference at St. Anthony's Parish Hall in Carnegie.
