Habitat Restoration Fund

Habitat Restoration Fund worked on the Mornington Peninsula and East Gippsland, restoring natural bushland and wetlands for wildlife, by removing weed species and planting native vegetation. We participated in multiple community events to further environmental education within the community about the importance of preserving our natural habitats, and how to do it effectively. We assisted private landowners and other conservation groups in how to go about improving their bushland for wildlife. We subsidised the cost for several projects on private and public land, to revegetate creeklines and remove highthreat weeds from important wildlife corridors.
