About Group Training Australia Limited
The National Apprentice Employment Network (NAEN) is a notforprofit charity based national industry association. NAEN provides advocacy services and support to its members, predominantly notforprofit Group Training Organisations (GTOs), who employ apprentices and trainees across multiple industry sectors across Australia. Our member GTOs facilitate the placement and rotation of apprentices and trainees between Host Employers under an employment safety net. A large proportion of our member GTOs employ First Nations apprentices and trainees, including schoolbased, and also facilitate direct employment. Entrylevel employment opportunities and career pathways are established through our members for First Nations people in a wide range of industries including construction, energy and renewables, allied health, early childhood, aged care and disability services. Member GTOs access funds through NAEN s brokerage services with the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA). NAEN is contracted through a project grant with the NSW Government to provide industry training advisory services as the NSW Building, Construction, Resources and Infrastructure Training Advisory Body (BCRITAB). This is one of ten Industry Training Advisory Bodies (ITABs) operating in NSW. The Today's Skills Tomorrow's Leaders program is facilitated through NAEN s program management, and has been funded over the last two years by the Commonwealth Government s National Career's Institute. This is a development program for outstanding apprentices and trainees nominated by NAEN member GTOs and the Australian Training Awards.
