Grainery Care Inc.

We are a nonprofit social enterprise focused on helping people to find life in all its fullness  by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those who need it. Our aim is to lift people up from their circumstances (instead of giving a handout) & to give hope for their future. Grainery Care provides emergency and sustainable food relief for those struggling the most, as well as monthly free community breakfasts, weekly free community dinners & community connect groups where people are given the chance to find new friends. We also run supportive dropin centre with a referral service to ensure a holistic support approach, a PayItForward cafe, and a Supported Accommodation Program for young parents. Grainery Care does all of this with an aim to empower individuals from vulnerable, disadvantaged, and atrisk communities to overcome barriers to social and economic participation.
