GWR Ltd Pty proudly and ethically rescued an astonishing 285 dogs and 3 cats, primarily from pound facility deathrows Australiawide. Our unique rescue model enabled animals to be saved, fostered and adopted throughout Australia widening the opportunity to significantly save lives. This model incurred substantial costs primarily due to interstate transport fees and heightened veterinary costs due to the use of many non rescue partner vets as all rescued animals undertook consults, desex and vaccination if required (which was the majority of saves) and other treatment as required ranging from cancerous tumour removal, emergency csections, blood transfusions, and multitude of surgeries.
