During 2024 we have expanded our Food Rescue activities to recover between 15 to 25 tonnes of food which would otherwise go to waste, and the food was either distibuted through our Food Coop diirect to food vulnerable households, shared to other community agencies across the Ipswich West Moreton region, or converted into more than 75,000 precooked frozen meansl which were distributed to low income, home less or otherwise socially disadvantaged and food vulnerable people. We also commenced delivery of Food Hampers and food support to Families in the Esk and Fernvale regions of the Somerset Region. In November 2024 Goodness Enterprises purchased a 33 acre property adjoining our current property in Chwuar Queensland, with the intention of future use for social housing, and employment creation for unemployed and disadvantaged job seekers, especially young people aged 15 to 24 years of age.
