Good Neighbours Australia's vision is Empowering People, Transforming Communities, and its mission is to respect the human rights of our neighbours suffering from poverty, disaster, and oppression, help them achieve selfreliance, and enable them to rebuild hope. We achieve this through our programs and campaigns, such as: child sponsorship, overseas community development programs, emergency relief, volunteer programs, and community education/advocacy events. We provided the Child Sponsorship Program in Vietnam. We initiated the Better Life for Girls Project in Bangladesh and the Philippines. We supported vocational training for vulnerable youth in Vietnam through the Good Barber Project. We sent donated goods, including dignity kits and knitted blankets, to Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Romania as part of our Support Community Programs initiative.
