Gondwana Rainforest Trust Ltd

During the 20232024 financial year, Gondwana Rainforest Trust continued to purchase and restore high conservation value rainforest to ensure the ongoing protection and management of these critically important ecosystems. Our generous supporters made 15,491 donations to purchase and protect four more high conservation value properties in the Daintree lowland rainforest, while also supporting the acquisition of an 83 hectare property containing 45 hectares of endangered highaltitude cloud forest in the Atherton Tablelands with fellow nonprofit South Endeavour Trust. We continued to build trust, integrity, respect and transparency with our incredible donors and our conservation program partners including indigenous communities, government and other key stakeholders. This year also saw Gondwana Rainforest Trust launch its Gondwana Rainforest Refuges conservation program, aimed at protecting and managing exceptional examples of our natural rainforest landscapes and native plants and animals for future generations. This scienceled program will support the protection of threatened species and rainforest ecosystems through the establishment of a wellconnected and integrated system of rainforest protected areas that are effectively and responsibly managed for conservation alongside Australia s public terrestrial protected area network.
