Going Down Swinging (GDS) is one of Australia s longestrunning and most respected literary journals: publishing digital as well as print and audio anthologies since 1979. GDS aims to publish, celebrate and help develop quality writing in all its myriad forms, and to engage and support writers in an encouraging and supportive artistic community. Each year GDS publishes a major anthology, in 2024 edition #44 was called Longshot, as well as a range of online publications, projects and public readings to engage audiences.
