Go Circular is dedicated to advancing a circular economy, which means creating a system where resources are reused, recycled, and kept in circulation for as long as possible, rather than being discarded. This approach helps reduce waste and protect the planet. Our work has helped achieve this mission and our main aims in several impactful ways: 1. Raising Awareness and Educating Communities: Go Circular has run awareness campaigns and educational programs that teach circular economy from school program, to SMEs and to large organisations about the importance of reducing waste, recycling, and reusing materials. By empowering people with knowledge, we encourage sustainable habits that align with our mission and to advance Australian circular economy. 2. Building Community Projects: We have organized local initiatives, such as Sustainability Showcase Precinct, where reflecting a collaborative effort among operators of restaurants, cafés and other shops in a City Centre / Darby Street precinct in Newcastle Australia will attract customers and urban ecotourists, reduce businesses operating costs, lower their environmental impacts, attract much needed staff, and demonstrate the City s leadership in fostering sustainability. 3. Collaborating with Businesses: Go Circular works with businesses to adopt circular practices, such as Bin Trim project to support more than 160 cafes, restaurants or pubs to reduce their food waste to landfill. By supporting sustainable practices within the hospitality sector, we help the businesses to reduce industrial and organic waste and promote a more ecofriendly approach in business.
