The principal activity of the company during the course of the financial year was that of a notforprofit health promotion charity whose purpose is in translating the science of the Glycemic Index to make healthy choices easy for the population. We certify low GI foods globally with the Low GI Symbol Certified Trade Mark. Funds raised support education programs to promote the health benefits of Glycemic Index to the community as well as healthcare professionals. We also engage leading international nutrition scientists to support the publication and dissemination of scientific research supporting quality carbohydrates, GI and dietary patterns for achieving better health outcomes.
