The short and longterm objectives of the entity, and the strategy for achieving those objectives, are being developed. The longterm objective is to promote the conservation, maintenance, and restoration of biodiversity in Australia and globally. The shortterm objectives will focus on raising funds and making grants which support effective delivery of conservation projects outside Australia. In 2023/24, the programs focused on raising funds for conservation projects in Africa, Asia and South America. Due diligence and technical review of potential projects and partners was undertaken.
