Glebe Youth Service Inc

We delivered a wide range of child, youth, family and community development programs and services aimed at improving the lives and wellbeing of local young people and their families. Our services included: group programs that build connections, skills, health, confidence and safety, community events that celebrate, connect, enable and empower our community; and individual support, providing advice, referrals, advocacy, case management and case coordination, and family capacity building services. We value partnerships and collaboration and worked closely with a wide range of other agencies to support community development and increase the diversity and capacity of options in our community, including: schools, police, DCJ, community groups, universities and other NGOs. We operated continuously through various societal challenges, focusing on food relief, phone support, brokerage, referrals and local agency coordination. Our regular face to face, programs included teen dropins, genderspecific programs, a music studio, structured skills groups, early intervention programs and skill building for children aged 9 to 12 years.
