Undertook weed control over 12 hectares, targeting invasive species like St. John s Wort and African Lovegrass. Community Engagement and Education: Organized over 40 community events, workshops, and cleanup days, involving 375 volunteer hours. Supported citizen science programs such as Waterwatch and Frogwatch, with over 40 volunteers monitoring waterways and conducting 592 frog surveys. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborated with member groups, government agencies, and local organizations to deliver initiatives like the Urban Rivers and Catchments Program and the TurtleWatch project. Empowering Volunteers: Reached over 1,200 community members through digital and onground educational initiatives. Recognized the efforts of volunteers at events like the ACT Landcare Awards, fostering a strong culture of stewardship.
