We delivered a series of educational programs to professionals in the form of the Mental Health and Wellbeing of Young People seminars online learning hub. The seminars provide vital education and training on key issues including anxiety, grief, resilience and online safety to assist professionals in their day to day work with young people and within the wider community, in particular parents and carers. The program aims to build mental health literacy, increase help seeking skills and providing young people with the tools to better look after their mental health and moreover prevent the onset of mental illness. We also undertook further research in this area including extensive evaluation to continue to refine the program. We produced a series of free sessions for parents, professionals and the wider community covering a range of issues including drug and alcohol education, online safety and teen mental health. A key advantage of the online delivery is that they can assist a wider audience and reach those in rural and remote areas. Generation Next has purposely included free sessions in the program so that they can be accessed regardless of location and financial constraints; and shared widely. We continued our presence on YouTube, Podbean, social media and our blog and email communications, providing educational videos, podcasts and sharing resources to the community We continued to develop resources to assist current and emerging issues affecting the mental, social and emotional wellbeing of young people to identify preventative, treatment or management measures of mental illness in young people
