We have continued to support all sectors of our regional, rural and remote community. Our programs have included Adult Literacy and Numeracy with the aim of assisting those within our community who struggle with written communication. We have engaged a Digital Trainer through Digital Ready for Daily Life to assist folks of all ages and local community groups to increase their digital literacy and capacity. Jumpstart Learner Driver Mentoring Program continued throughout 2024. GeCo Youth Club engaged young people aged 5 12 years in educational and recreational activities after school and throughout the school holidays with excursions. Additionally, we collaborated with Dover and South Action Group to establish the Far South Mobile Community Hub and Community Connector program to provide individuals with complex needs to access targeted support and resources. Other activities we provided includes NILS loans, Emergency Food Relief Program and other social connection and wellbeing programs such as Rural Strength, Mahjong, Qi Gong, Women Working with Wood and Gardening.
