Our S.T.A.R.S. (Short Term Animal Respite Service) which provides free pet minding/feeding or walking to people needing hospital treatment who have no other options (financial and/or social reasons) to have their pet cared for has continued .The visibility of the service has grown over the last year as people have become familiar with it. We had less capacity in 2024 due to ill health of the organizer however are resuming at full speed in 2025 and still hope to expand to Darwin within the next few years.
