Friends Regional Gallery Caloundra Inc

We assisted in the running of two art exhibitions, one for local artists and one for school students. These received over 500 entries, and were effective in promoting art and emerging art techniques in 2D and 3D visual arts. We applied for and were granted funds to build an undercover annexe adjacent to the gallery. This allows more people to attend educational and community outreach programs for the visual arts. We also liaised with local multicultural group to set up cooperation with multicultural art groups in our area. We held multiple member events at the gallery and also via bus trips to encourage people to appreciate and participate in the visual arts, and fundraised for educational programs for local school students. We accepted donations into our DGR fund and donated funds to the gallery for their programs.
