Friends Of The Porongurup Range (Inc)

Friends of Porongurup Range Inc is a not for profit conservation organisation participating in community activities to protect and conserve the biodiversity and ecology of the flora and fauna and unique heritage history of the Porongurup region. We have a particular interest in the policies that affect the integrity of the National heritage Listed Porongurup National Park which is geographically located at the heart of the Porongurup Community. We manage the 511Ha Twin Creeks Conservation Reserve located between the Porongurup and Stirling ranges of Western Australia. Twin Creeks is part of the National reserve system and covenanted with the National trust of WA. Friends of Porongurup Range conducts ongoing flora and fauna surveys annually to ensure the Conservation and Environmental Preservation of the Twin Creeks Conservation reserve. We conduct annual workshops, available to educational entities and the public for the purpose of environmental education.
