Funds were collected to support the Salaries of Teachers for the School run by Ashraya Trust India. Approximately $3000 INR Rs1,50,000, is planned to be sent per month. Along with this, some additional donations for Uniforms, etc have also been sent. At A total amount of $32,000 AUD was sent in FY23 to continue supporting the school so that education can be provided to vulnerable children. A personal visit was undertaken in Feb/Mar 24 by Savita Gupta and family to review the operations of the charity in India. Due to some issue with the banks and government approvals required by Ashraya India no funds could be transferred in FY24.
