Tuart Place is the West Australian support service for adults who were in any type of outofhome care when they were children, including former child migrants, members of the Stolen Generations and Forgotten Australians. People can access Tuart Place's free services including a dropin centre, which are provided in an informal, nonbureaucratic setting. Clinical services include: traumainformed counselling; a therapeutic support group; phone outreach support; computer literacy and IT assistance; supported access to records; assistance with National Redress Scheme applications and other institutional abuse complaints; family tracing; access to probono financial counselling, help to access aged care services and support; health and legal services onsite; and help to access mainstream services and supports in the community.
