Firsthealth Limited plays a key role in the integration and coordination of primary health care across the Murrumbidgee region. Firsthealth Limited trading as Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is one of 31 primary health orginisations established by the Australian government to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of health services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, and improving coordination of care to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time. The MPHN works to ensure primary health services are better tailored to meet the needs of the local communities. The MPHN has been set seven key priorities for targeted work; mental health, Aborginal and Torres Srait Islander health, population health, health workforce, digital health, aged care and alcohol and other drugs.
