We organized social events, public forums and provided information to the Italian community in Melbourne about matters concerning social justice, political change and Italian culture. The activities we conducted in the calendar year are listed below: *Public Talk The value of the Republic and its citizens abroad, Festa della Repubblica Italiana, Sunday 2 June *We put out a press release to support the campaign by INCA and CGIL (Italian Conferderation of trade unions), to encourage Italian citizens abroad to vote in the Referendum to restore employment rights in Italy, that took place on 11 June 2024. *Membership campaign in July 2024 which tied in with our AGM Thursday 25 July 2025 *Through social media promoted an event put on by the Sardinian Cultural Association, a screening of short films produced in the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, held on 11 August 2024 *19 August 2024 On social media, released a Solidarity Statement with CFMEU *Promoted an event put on by Comites (Comitato degli Italiani all'Estero), Aperi Visto, that took place on 23 September 2024. It was a free event providing information on the Australian Visa program and the 'Witcare Hub', an information hub that provides free assistance to Italians about relocating to Australia. *With the Greek Democritus League, conducted a public forum on the effects of the law change which put the CFMEU into administration. This took place 10 October 2024. *Online meeting The Meloni Government's changes to the payment of unemployment benefits and payments of the Italian pension to pensioners that live abroad. Coordinated with FILEF Sydney and FlLEF Adelaide. Took place on 27 December 2024.
