FAWNA provided a 24 hour 7 day a week telephone service for injured, orphaned and harmed wildlife. Volunteer members responded to over 4500 calls from the public for wildlife needing aid and took into care and rehabilitated those that were able to be helped. The animals that could not be helped to be returned to the wild were humanely euthanased. FAWNA ran training courses for it volunteer members on rescue and care techniques for wildlife. FAWNA completed its Nest Box program started during the Black Summer Fires. FAWNA mounted a wildlife food supply response following the Willi Willi fires in the Kempsey Region until habitat refreshed.
