Far North Queensland MBA is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of families with multiples (twins, triplets, higher order). We run fortnightly playgroups, giving parents a chance to connect, share experiences, and support each other through the unique challenges of raising multiples. These gatherings help reduce stress for parents and create a fun, social environment for infants, toddlers, and young children. For families with older kids, we host schoolage activities like park meetups, movie nights, sausage sizzles, scooter rides, designed to build community and offer fun for the whole family. We also understand how important it is for parents to take time for themselves. That s why we offered parent dinner nights, where parents, (usually the mums) can dress up, relax, and enjoy a welldeserved evening out and connect with other likeminded parents. The Far North Queensland Multiple Birth Association provides a vital lifeline so we are continuing to work on providing more support and aim to continue offering a safe, inclusive space for families with multiples to come together, share experiences and create connection within our community.
