Ethos Foundation LtdRegistered

Ethos Foundation s work in 2024 helped achieve our mission by resourcing practical, community led permaculture education where it can make the greatest difference. We directed donations to trusted local partners to run free training, demonstration and school garden programs, with a strong focus on refugee settlements and low income communities in East Africa. Through this support, young people and community members gained hands on skills to grow food, improve nutrition, restore soils, harvest water, and build everyday resilience using locally available resources. Our approach also strengthened local leadership by supporting permaculture teacher training and youth led initiatives, so knowledge stays in place and continues to spread through families, schools, and neighbourhood networks. Alongside on the ground projects, we used storytelling and learning events (including our permaculture film club and related education activities) to grow awareness, invite public participation, and generate ongoing support for community scale regeneration. In this way, Ethos Foundation contributed to healthier ecosystems and more self reliant communities, while uplifting vulnerable young people, including girls and refugee youth, through education, practical pathways, and relationship based support.
