In 2023/24, EPF worked primarily on the following organisational objective: To provide education and activities that prevent and respond to violence against women and children This was primarily achieved through the work on a new Respectful Relationship Education curriculum that builds off our earlier 'Equal Playing Field 4 Schools (EPF4S)' Program. It attempts to reframe the challenges of unhealthy gender norms through a less combative lens, looking at the complementarity of roles within societies and families, and the positive and negative aspects of traditional roles. The majority of this work took place in 2024, and is set to continue under broad collaboration with our PNG sister organisation over the coming years.
