Emerald Show Society IncRegistered

Throughout the year, our charity delivered on its mission by hosting the annual Emerald Agricultural Show, which attracted over 13,000 attendees and featured competitions, exhibitions, and educational displays that highlighted food, fibre, and local industries. We also supported related community initiatives, including children s woodchop workshops and school competitions, which promote agricultural knowledge and community engagement. In addition, we hosted the Back to Basics conference, which provided valuable learning and networking opportunities for Queensland agricultural show volunteers, supporting improved governance and volunteer development across the sector. We also held the What s On in Emerald Expo, a free community event that brought families together through local sports, activities, and displays, strengthening community connection and participation. These events contributed to our goals of education, engagement, and excellence in volunteering, competition, and governance within the agricultural and related sectors.
