EMBRACE is a communitybased, notforprofit organisation dedicated to supporting multicultural individuals, families, and community in their journey towards holistic wellbeing that is prosperous and aspirational. Our dedicated team are committed to providing culturally appropriate, engaging, and bestpractice services that cater to the diverse needs of the CALD community in Adelaide. Our programs and services are based on a theory of change that access to appropriate holistic services, driven from youth and community voice, create prosperity and aspirational advancement. We action this change by: Advancing Education Refer CALD clients to culturally appropriate partner providers of academic support, engagement programs, mentoring programs and workshops for young migrants and refugees within and outside of the school environment. Advancing social or public welfare Act as a conduit to mobilise CALD youth and community to culturally appropriate events in the Adelaide community that support identity and pride in culture and increase participation in early intervention and diversion activity that promotes a safe and prosperous community Refer CALD clients to culturally appropriate targeted mental health programs and counselling services for young migrants and refugees focusing on migration related traumas, depression, anxiety disorders, and other mental health issues. Refer CALD clients and community members to tailored programs, workshops, and resources for migrant and refugee parents focusing on understanding migrant youth experiences, navigating the education system, and fostering a supportive home environment.
