ELISION delivered a strong and highly successful 2024 programme, with outstanding performances and other activity in Australia, in Sydney and Melbourne, and strong presentations in Germany. The disempowering cultural impacts of covid had resulted in isolation and withdrawal from domestic, international markets and contacts, but the 2024 activity demonstrates the organisation s ability to move into a forwardlooking phase distinguished by new and brilliant performer membership, generational renewal with new composition voices enhancing valuable extant relationships, and the reception of a strong audience base, especially in our home city of Melbourne.
