EAAA undertakes system advocacy on issues such as the harmonization of laws that impact older people. By engaging with members, stakeholders and community members, EAAA represents the issues and challenges faced by older people at risk of or experiencing abuse with governments and service providers. Through projects such as Compass.info and the National Elder Abuse Conferences, EAAA seeks to raise awareness of the abuse of older people, perpetrators and how the abuse may be prevented.
