On 1 July 2024 the Board converted the incorporated association (Inner Western Workskills Inc) to a Company Limited by Guarantee, Eighty9 Limited (E9L). This change was performed to facilitate the growth of our benevolent undertakings across Australia. E9L aims, through our brands, to deliver exceptional service to unemployed and disadvantaged persons that alleviates inequality in society. At E9L we have spent the past 36 years working to alleviate inequality in all aspects of our society. As the company has grown so too have our goals and ambitions, and in 2024 we are continuing to influence change with commercial operations spanning the Employment Services, Training Services, Disability Services, Allied Health Counselling Services and personal services designed to provide relief from disadvantage and poverty. The Board aspires to excellence in governance standards, providing strategic guidance for E9L and its brands, and effective oversight of management. The Board is the guardian of the founding purpose for which E9L was established, to promote equality of access to foundational opportunities and supports that alleviate suffering for people who are unemployed, living with disability, and those in necessitous circumstances, and is accountable for the pursuit of that purpose. Our outputs are our brands, including: Status, delivering Disability and Employment Services and Transition to Work that impact education and employment outcomes for our Participants. BlueSky Mind Studio, delivering Allied Health and NDIS services to the community that achieve impacts of improved mental health, the meeting of personal goals and objectives, and employment. Pivot RTO, delivering Skills for Education and Employment, Vocational Training and Foundation Skills for Your Future programs. We impact our participants through the provision of certificate qualifications, improved language, literacy and numeracy skills, improved digital literacy skills and employment. ImpactEight Delivering styling and wardrobe assistance, career development and a professional alumni of supports for women accessing Dress for Success and for men accessing Geared for Success that is designed to achieve economic independence, stable accommodation and employment.
