Education Equity Alliance LTDRegistered

The Education Equity Alliance s vision is an education system where students achieve equity of outcomes no matter their background or circumstances. Currently there is a persistent gap in these outcomes, especially for priority cohort students. Recent government reviews have found that this gap has worsened despite record investment (Productivity Commission, 2023). Our mission is to strengthen collaboration across the education system, including with priority cohort students and their teachers, to address systemic barriers to education equity. The Alliance pursues this mission at both the school and system level. It works directly with schools to engage students (especially those from priority cohorts) and teachers as partners in school improvement initiatives for improved equity. At the system level, it convenes a collective of peak education equity stakeholders to examine and then action systemic barriers to education equity.
