Eat Up's mission is to feed hungry kids so they can learn, grow and succeed. Eat Up is the first and only Australian NotForProfit to provide free lunches to hungry students nationally. By providing nourishment to disadvantaged students at school, Eat Up improves their engagement in the classroom so they can better take advantage of learning opportunities, succeed in education and ultimately, have a brighter future. Partnering with a range of organisations and businesses enables Eat Up to sustainably provide free, healthy lunches for school children on a large scale. In the 2024 financial year, Eat Up engaged 15,783 volunteers and delivered 948,583 lunches to 940 schools in both metropolitan and regional areas across the country. Eat Up provides a valuable opportunity for community organisations, regional groups, workplaces, school students and individuals to contribute in a direct and meaningful way to end hunger in schools. At Eat Up, we work hard to ensure every dollar raised goes towards advancing our mission. In financial year 2024, we raised $1,373,133 in In Kind Donations/Support which represents 43% of our total expenses. If In Kind Donations/Support were removed from our financials, then our financial year 2024 revenue would be $2,058,243 and our expenses would be reduced to: $1,846,584.
