Eastern Riverina Arts

Every day, Eastern Riverina Arts staff are in the community, supporting the growth and development of the region s arts and creative industries. Here is a snapshot of some of that core activity. Throughout 2024, we provided over 500 instances of advice and support to creatives, councils and community groups in our region. ERA provides connection, project advice, help with funding and strategic planning and more: we continued offering our auspicing service for community projects and actively participated in regional forums, including business gatherings and roundtables led by local councils and organisations such as the Riverina Eastern Regional Organisation of Councils (REROC) and the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD). We promoted over 560 opportunities and events and funding news for creatives in our region via social media and our monthly newsletter. Over 325 of these were events and projects created by artists and organisations in our region. We published 100 posts spotlighting local artists within the Creative Riverina social media platforms, promoting artists and creative practitioners from our region and across the service areas of Western Riverina Arts and South West Arts. We also undertook a major redevelopment of the Creative Riverina website refreshing the platform to better serve the creative community. We expanded our resources page to feature 20+ links connecting local artists with broader support for their creative business or practice. We delivered workshops and info sessions across each Local Government Area in the region to support local artists, organisations and groups ahead of the 2025 Country Arts Support Program (CASP). At Station Creative Workspace we hosted 11 exhibitions for artists and groups across our region. We launched the Station Creative Incubator, an initiative that provided an affordable opportunity for creatives to access a subsidised workspace at the Station to prototype or develop a new creative business model. This year we were also able to offer the oneoff Festivals marketing boost, which saw $2500 grants going to festivals across our region.
