DRILL Performance Company Inc.

In 2024 DRILL delivered a year long program of activities for young people, including Kaleidoscope, was our Junior Company Project for young people aged 912, delivered in January March 2024 at Moonah Arts Centre. A season of 'The Hearth' was performed at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery after a six month development, with one public preview and three performances, and a season of 'First Sketch' was performed at Mather's place with two public performances. Members of our Senior Company took part in both, and our Junior Company participated in 'First Sketch.' The Horizon Project was delivered in the Huon Valley with Cygnet Primary School, Franklin Primary School, Huonville Primary School and Huonville High School. DRILL also delivered a series of professional development opportunities for young artists, including Brianna Shahin as associate choreographer on Kaleidoscope and company member Woolf Wakelam working as an assistant. Brianna and Lily Alcock led selected classes.
