Dorrigo Dramatic Club Inc

Our aim to foster an appreciation of drama in its various forms was achieved through 2 major live productions of 'The Travelers' and 'Blithe Spirit' which attracted new members to the club and was well received by audiences as well as fostering skill development of young community members. We also staged a pantomime through the Kids on Stage program which engaged youth between 6 and 13 years of age to participate meaningfully on and off the stage. Our aim to provide facilities for community activities and meaningful community engagement promoting connection and community wellbeing was addressed by events including the Old Gazette Film Society (a subcommittee of the Dorrigo Dramatic Club) providing twelve screenings during 2024 and hosting three community screenings making the Old Gazette Theatre accessible to the Dorrigo Plateau community on a regular basis.
