In 2024 the Donald Learning Group Inc., worked with our local community to meet our purpose of advancing mental health and preventing social isolation by providing a physical location where we support individuals to undertake activities or work on projects in the company of others. We provide opportunities for social connection through a range of regular, lowcost activities and groups, various volunteering roles, adult education, training opportunities. During 2023, we support social connection, including a Multicultural Event in the Park, Art Exhibition, and providing mental health referrals where needed. Hosted healthy cooking classes for children & their parents over 8 weeks. Providing a monthly newsletter providing information on what is on in the community. Adult Education: digital Literacy. Purchased, packed & supplied 162 bags to children on Children's Week. Provided welcome packs for new members of the community & homeless packs with referrals for organisations to assist.
