As a network of doctors, we worked to improve how the healthcare system recognises and responds to domestic, family and sexual violence. We provided financial assistance to help women escaping violence access safe temporary accommodation and other essential needs, supporting their safety as they left. Through online platforms, our network of doctors collaborated to support one another and build our skills in providing compassionate, informed care to patients affected by violence. We also raised community awareness of domestic, family and sexual violence and advocated for stronger system responses.
