DRWA has continued to pursue its vision of a World without Diabetes and its core purpose of funding and advancing research for the prevention, control and cure of all forms of diabetes . During the year we worked to raise funds in a competitive environment and to promote the benefits of focused sensible local research into diabetes. We also continued our discussions with other diabetesrelated organisations to investigate new collaborative opportunities.
